Who were William Louis Boulden's Parents?

Can you help solve the mystery? William Louis Boulden is an interesting person to study. He led a unique life and stood at one the cross roads of American history. William was born in 1792 in Cecil, Maryland. He would fight in the War of 1812, including a stint at the famous Fort McHenry. He paid off a $500 indeture to the Governor of Maryland so that he could marry Nancy Patterson. After the war, he took his family down the Ohio river before settling in Southwestern, Ohio.

Who were his parents? He was a militia officer. He had the money to purchase the indeture note before the war ended. Why would his parents not be listed on his baptism records?
